The good news is that IT solutions are becoming increasingly important for business. As companies devote more resources to IT spending, Indian IT professionals are going to have more job opportunities. According to a recent study by CompTIA, corporate IT spending in India is expected to lead the world with a 6.9 percent increase.
The bad news is that there are many unscrupulous and low-quality training organizations that will promise you the moon only to take your money and leave you with substandard training. If you’re an aspiring IT professional with your eyes set on hardware and networking, a thorough research of training institutions and course content is a good way to start. Choosing the right institution for you is important — it’s the first rung on your career ladder.
For every reputable training school in India, there dozens more not worth your time and money. Before signing on with a training institute, make sure you do some research. Three questions to consider are:
- What do experienced IT professionals think of the institute?
- What is their track-record for placing freshers into the Industry?
- Are their course syllabi and study materials easy to use, up-to-date, and comprehensive?
While I’m not recommending any particular institute, the following are premium institutes offering comprehensive training in hardware and networking. I’ve also thrown in a bit of information on some of their more popular courses.
